Since commencing her practice and over the last 14 years, Namitha has been engaged in litigation, dispute resolution and corporate advisory assignments across jurisdictions.
Her passion has remained litigation since 2008, when she shifted from core corporate practice to litigation and dispute resolution, with her primary focus areas being civil law, company law, private estate law, alternative dispute redressal systems, real estate, infrastructure and property laws and education. She has evolved, over the years, a full spectrum practice on the litigation side being actively involved in all aspects of litigation from the trial stage upto the appellate stage.
Namitha has also has honed an equally robust practice on the corporate side and works primarily in the areas of corporate governance, private equity, real estate and infrastructure project implementation and financing and acquisitions. The exposure to both corporate and litigation practice has given her an added advantage to appreciate not only the nuances of negotiating, structuring and drafting documentation for complex multi-level transactions but also the ability to identify and safeguard against possible transactional vulnerability which would expose clients to prospective litigation.
